La fausse coupe comporte des feuilles d'acanthe étalées avec des grappes de raisin au centre, motifs qui se retrouvent sur le couvercle, tandis que le bord de la coupe est souligné par un cordon torsadé. Une couronne fermée et un globe crucifère achèvent un ensemble somptueux. Au revers de la pièce, une inscription en deux parties : &quot;Evrard Donner et Ienne Le Febvre DDI - VFD Albertus Chaboteau pastor d'Aublam 1678&quot;, mentionne les noms des donateurs et celui d'un ancien prieur de l'abbaye de Floreffe, curé d'Aublain de 1673 à 1691.
